About Me
Hi, my name is Mithra Selvam and I'm currently a junior in Frisco High School. I am looking to gain professional experience in the field of healthcare, specifically radiology. Some previous experiences I had in my field of interest have been through a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class I took over summer. Through the course, I learned many important skills and a foundational understanding of caregiving. I was able to go to clinicals and work at a nursing home helping the people that lived there. Most of my other experiences come largely from my high school courses where I took anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and other health and science oriented courses. These previous experiences incited my passion to learn more about healthcare and have caused me to be enthusiastic about future experiences I will be able to have. In my personal life I enjoy many hobbies including baking, reading, painting, and spending
time with friends and family. Some other activities I enjoy swimming and participating in clubs at my school such as the Wishing Crane Project. Radiology has particularly interested me because I am curious to learn about how radiologists use scans from various technologies to determine the correct diagnosis for a patient. I hope to acquire more knowledge about the career of radiology and strive to gain experience in the professional world.
Mission Statement
