This week's accomplishments in ISM were the creation of my original work proposal, the completion of another research assessment, and more.
An important task I accomplished this week was the completion of my original work proposal. In this proposal I discussed my ideas and vision for my original work. I have decided to create a pamphlet for my original work. The pamphlet presents the various types of imaging technologies and explains the advantages and disadvantages to each. It will be for a patient to see before the radiology procedure to give them a little information.
In addition, I wrote another research assessment over my topic radiology. In this one I was able to learn even more about the different radiology technologies in depth, specifically computed tomography or CT scans.
In the past week I also finished up my cold call script to use when I make calls to radiologists. And I finished the email template I will use for reaching out to professionals to ask for an interview. Now that these two vital pieces are complete I can now begin to make my first cold calls in the coming weeks.
A challenge this week was deciding on what to do for my original work. I only came up with my final idea after much deliberation and thought. A success for me this week is completing all the previous steps, making me completely ready to start making cold calls.
My main goal next week as I mentioned will be to start reaching out to professionals. I already have the contact list I made so all I need to do now is take the next step and actually call. Overall, this week was a busy week however it has prepared me for everything I will be doing next week.
