New Experiences (2.12.24)

In the past week I had my ISM gallery walk event which was very exciting. In addition, I have been working towards my final product. 

The ISM gallery walk took place last Wednesday and it was a great experience. Me and the other ISM students set up our boards near the school cafeteria and students and teachers were welcome to walk by and look at our boards. A couple of teachers came up to my boards and it was fun to teach them about radiology and show them my new research. 

In addition, many of my friends came to see my board and I got to teach them about radiology and all the things I learned. My favorite part of the gallery walk however, was that I got to go around and visit the board of all the ISM students, especially the ones that were not in my class. 

I saw many interesting boards such as one about cyber security that was very informative. The student who created it includes many different cypers and puzzles to explain a topic but also make her board interactive. Looking at other people's boards also gave me ideas on what I could change on my boards. For example, I saw many people include a bio of themselve which I thought was a great idea. 

In addition, this week I have also been completing more research to work towards my final product. I have been focused on researching the reasons why senior citizens are unable to get radiology procedures and the statistics on this topic. In addition, I will also be looking into how many elderly citizens are in poverty as I know that is a huge reason why they do to get the medical procedures they need.
