Patience is Key (11.6.23)

This week in ISM was quite similar to last week. I continued to make cold calls requesting interviews as before. However, I have not got any yet.

Something I would consider an accomplishment this week was my discovery of a very helpful website. It is called Health Grades and this website has a tool where I can input my location and the type of physician I want to find and It gives me a list of all the physicians in my area. This website was extremely useful in helping my friend radiologists near me.

This week was quite challenging as I have not been able to schedule an interview. It has been quite disappointing for me. However, I have learned that it is really not up to me and I just have to be patient and wait until a radiologist is kind enough to make time to have an interview with me.

In the meantime I have begun working on research assessment for my original work. I have decided to dedicate each research assessment to one radiology technology. This way I can delve deeper into one technology and learn all about its advantages and disadvantages.

Overall, this past week was filled with some disappointments and success however I learned many new things about my research and about the professional world.
