Research Showcase! (2.26.24)

The past week in ISM was very exciting for me. I got to share my topic with other students, teachers, professionals, and parents at the research showcase. 

This year's ISM showcase was hosted at the University of North Texas and it was very organized and a great event overall. When I first got there I walked around to see other people's boards. I learned a lot about a variety of different topics from law to digital marketing and it was very interesting. 

Then it was time for me to present my own board. The showcase lasted about 2 hours and many different people came up to my board. I got to show them my original works and tell them about my experience in ISM so far and my research. It was exciting because I got to show my friends, family, and teachers what I have been working on since the beginning of the school year. 

In addition, I got a lot of questions from people that made me think about my research more and look into new things. They asked about the little things about my research that allowed me to tell them about my project and my work with my mentor. 

Apart from the showcase, I have also been working on my final product with my mentor. As of right now, we have compiled a list of all the transportation resources, financial aid forms, and everything else I will include on my website and I am currently working on inputting this information onto my website.
