This past week in ISM has been pretty busy. I have begun focusing my time on my original work. In addition, I have continued to reach out to radiologists to get interviews.

My original work was going to be a pamphlet and a small research paper to showcase all the information I got. I have been gathering my information through my assessment and have now begun my pamphlet. I am using the online website canva to create my pamphlet and I will print it out. So far I have gathered information on MRI's and CT scans. But in the following weeks I am looking to research other imaging technologies.

I have also been cold calling radiologists. My teacher recommended the American Chiropractic College of Radiology or ACCR where they teach radiology. I have called a couple people from here and am waiting back on their responses.

I have had two interviews so far and am looking to get at least one more before I decide on my mentor. One of my interviews was over zoom since the professional lived in california. While he was very knowledgeable and it was really interesting to hear his experiences, I think I am going to look for a mentor in texas. This is because it will be better for me to meet face to face with my mentor because I feel like I will gain more experience and knowledge that way.

Overall, this week in ISM has been another busy week. But all this work is important because I am working toward two important goals: finishing my original work and finding a mentor.
