Ultrasound

An ultrasound exam is a safe and painless diagnostic imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of the inside of the body. It is commonly used to visualize organs, tissues, and blood flow, providing valuable information for diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as pregnancy, heart disease, and abdominal issues. Ultrasound exams are non-invasive, radiation-free, and can often be performed at the bedside, making them a versatile and widely utilized tool in healthcare. The technologist will put water based gel between your skin and the transducer.
