MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging

An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exam is a non-invasive medical procedure that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to generate detailed images of the inside of the body without using ionizing radiation. MRI is particularly effective in visualizing soft tissues, organs, and the brain, aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as tumors, neurological disorders, and joint injuries. You will lay on a table and move through a tube shaped machine. You can expect to hear a thumping or humming sound during the exam.
